At CCF, we believe the local church exists first and foremost to connect people with the incredible love of God. As people recognize their need for a Savior and repent, through God’s love, grace and redemptive act of Jesus’ death on the cross, a new life and a right relationship with God is made possible.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

When you were created, you were made in God’s image. But God never intended for you to live in a world with sin, because sin disconnects us from who we were created to be, and from His love. No matter who you are or what you have done, God loves you, and never gives up on you. Throughout the Bible we read again and again that God waits for people in the midst of anything they are facing, with love and the ability to transform their life and situation. God can transform your life and situation, because his love is not based on anything that you can do, but on everything that He has done.

“For all have sinned; all fall short of God’s glorious standard.” (Romans 3:23)

God loves you so relentlessly that He sent His son Jesus to save humanity, to save you.

Jesus came into our world many years ago, and walked the earth,  showing us the great love and power of God by healing the sick, showing grace and forgiveness, and ultimately dying for our sins. Jesus was the son of God, but also was fully human when he lived perfectly on this earth, and died voluntarily to take the consequence of our sins – which was permanant seperation from the God who created us.

“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)

But even death is no match for the love of God, and Jesus rose again, with the promise of forgiveness and eternal live for those who believe that He is who He says He is. This is why we call Jesus our ‘Savior’ because through his death he saves us from the power of sin, and restores our relationship with God.

Jesus is alive and is waiting for you – He wants you to know forgiveness. He wants you to know His power and His love. He wants you to experience the freedom that comes when you decide to turn away from your sin, surrender your life to Him, and accept the grace and new life that comes from His sacrifice.

“But if we confess our sins to Him, He is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong.” (1 John 1:9)

You can begin a personal relationship, and restored connection to God, by praying this prayer:

“Dear Jesus, I’m praying this prayer because I know that I am a sinner. I believe that you died for my sins and rose from the dead. I accept your love and grace for me and ask that you would be my Lord. Help me to believe in you, to love you, and to obey you all the days of my life.

In Jesus Name, Amen.”
