GIVING

WAYS TO GIVE

"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this" says the Lord of hosts, "if I will not open for you the windows of heaven, and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows." - Malachi 3:10

Ideally, the local church serves as a storehouse in God's economy today. After all, God has designed the church to carry out vital social functions among Christians and non-Christians, which include ministering to the sick, teaching families to care for themselves and taking the gospel to the lost, both at home and abroad.

GENEROUS SERMON SERIES

In Acts 20:35, we are told that the Lord Jesus said, “It is more blessed to give than receive.” For some reason our world has twisted this around to find blessing in the things that we receive rather than in the ways we are generous. The Good News of the Gospel and God’s Word is that God loved so God gave, and this gift continues to give us new life, hope, joy, peace, and so much more each day. Through a recent sermon series called “Generous”, we focus on what it means to give of our time, treasure, and talent. We hope that as you look to the Lord and His Word, you too will find the pathway to embrace and embody radical generosity, and the true blessing found in giving.

WHERE DOES YOUR MONEY GO?

TITHE – GENERAL FUND

These funds cover the general budget which includes operational, staff and ministry expenses. The general budget provides support for everything from the ministry of our Compassion Center to costs associated with owning a building. CCF also tithes a portion of money received to our Free Methodist Denomination.

CARE – BENEVOLENCE FUND

These funds are distributed to those within the church congregation who have an unexpected need above and beyond their current income. This fund also supports widows and orphans, and is distributed on an annual (or as needed) basis. Learn more about benevolence and submit an application.

SEALED 2020 CAMPAIGN

Funds raised through our Sealed Campaigns (or past Investing in Destiny Campaign) are split between repairs needed for our facility, the Compassion Center (local ministry) and Our Partners (global ministry).

STEWARD. SERVE. SUPPORT.

SEALED 2020 was a next step in our continued commitment to be a place to connect. It was a three-fold commitment over twenty months (November 2018 – June 2020) to our privileged responsibility to be good stewards of what we own, good servants to our local community, and good supporters of our global partners.
