GENEROUS SERMON SERIES

In Acts 20:35, we are told that the Lord Jesus said, “It is more blessed to give than receive.” For some reason our world has twisted this around to find blessing in the things that we receive rather than in the ways we are generous. The Good News of the Gospel and God’s Word is that God loved so God gave, and this gift continues to give us new life, hope, joy, peace, and so much more each day. Through a recent sermon series called “Generous”, we focus on what it means to give of our time, treasure, and talent. We hope that as you look to the Lord and His Word, you too will find the pathway to embrace and embody radical generosity, and the true blessing found in giving.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE ABOUT GENEROSITY

Each week, part of our worship is to give tithes and offerings to the Lord. During Summer of 2023, we spent some times looking at the topic of generosity and part of that is how we view what God has placed in our hands. We encourage you to be in ongoing conversations with God when it comes to what he is calling you to give, and how he is calling you to partner with his work and his Kingdom. More than it being about a specific number, it's about being obedient to what God calls you to - cheerfully, joyfully - as part of his church, as part of church community, and as part of the way that we declare He is Provider and trust him to do just that - provide!
