Janelle Coleman
Janelle Coleman was born and raised in the beautiful country of Australia, immigrating to America in 2008. She is passionate about seeing the church shine as a place where people can encounter God’s love and a level of excellence unmatched by anything found in the world.
After coming to know Jesus at a young age, Janelle experienced a childhood that was heavily influenced by Christian values and a deep love for the church. As a teenager, she distinctly remembers facing the pivotal crossroads of a choice between Marketplace or Ministry, choosing the latter with her decision to attend Bible College in Australia after graduating high school.
At Bible College, Janelle met her husband, Jon, and they were married in 2005. Janelle was then “wooed” to America by the call of God (and her handsome American husband) after their oldest son was born, and they welcomed their younger son shortly after the move. Together, they are now parents in the thick of teenage years, raising two amazing young men, Josiah & Noah.
Janelle has served at Cucamonga Christian Fellowship since 2010, where she has held a variety of roles, most recently serving as Executive Pastor. Janelle also serves as part of the Board of Administration for the Free Methodist Church of Southern California.
Janelle comes from a long line of Methodist Ministers in Australia, so the Free Methodist emphasis on holiness and our foundation on Wesleyan Theology is near and dear to her heart. She loves the local church deeply and is passionate about seeing increased partnership and unity in our denomination. For the glory of God, she is in constant pursuit of standards of excellence in all areas of church life and enjoys using her administration and creative skills to achieve this.
