Prayer & Worship Night

During Holy Week this year, we reflect on the Easter story, the journey of Holy Week, and what God might be saying to us through this season and time. While we encourage you to journey though the scriptures on your own time, we also invite you to a time of shared reflection, prayer and outreach at a Worship & Prayer night on Wednesday, April 5th at 6:30pm.

CCF Youth will be joining this Worship & Prayer Night for their evening program.

FOR YOUR REFLECTION:

Holy Monday
On Monday, Jesus went into the temple and saw people cheating others out of their money.
Reflect on Mark 11:15-19.

Holy Tuesday
On Tuesday, Jesus was asked “what is the greatest commandment?”
Reflect on Matthew 22:34-40 or Mark 12:28-31.

Holy Wednesday
On Wednesday, Jesus’ dinner party was interrupted by Mary who anointed Jesus with oil.
Reflect on Mark 14:3-9 or John 12:1-8.

Maundy Thursday
During the Passover meal on Thursday, Jesus instituted the Lord’s Supper.
Reflect on Mark 14:12-25 and Luke 22:14-20.

Good Friday
On Friday, Jesus was brought before Pilate, tried, beaten and crucified.
Reflect on Matthew 27 and John 19.

Holy Saturday 
On Saturday, Jesus was in the tomb. Scripture doesn’t tell us more than that, so today we reflect on the silence of scripture.
