Over 25 years ago, Steve & Claudette Fitch responded to God’s call to start a church in the city of Rancho Cucamonga. Without a building, or a budget, Cucamonga Christian Fellowship was birthed in 1983 through a core group of 9 adults and 3 children meeting together in a living room.
By the fall of 1984, CCF had expanded to an average attendance of 120 and was quickly outgrowing its new home at the Montessori School on Foothill Blvd. Their desire was constant from the beginning, to reach people for Christ and disciple through equipping classes and small groups.
5 years after their living room beginnings, and then at 3 services each week, the congregation moved to a Warehouse building project on 7th Street. It was here that many church plants were birthed, missionaries sent out, and projects with the intent of ministering to the poor and needy of our community began.
In 1997, Pastor Fraser & JoAnne Venter became the Lead Pastors of CCF and through their vision and leadership, positioned CCF as a church that is known for making a difference in both our city and our world. Their passion for prayer, for the Word of God and for being the hands and feet of Jesus has drawn many to find their place to connect at CCF.
CCF transitioned from being renters to owners in 2010 through the purchase of the facility on 5th Street and through the Investing in Destiny Campaign and now the SEALED Campaign, have been faithful stewards of what God has given us. CCF continues to grown in ministry, both locally and globally, through various projects along with a weekly distribution of food and resources to the community.
