>>January 2013 Update

It has been a while since our last update, but not because there has not been a lot of activity behind the scenes with architects, contractors and City Building Departments.  By the time you read this, we will be in the final stages of completing Phase 2 (2 additional classrooms) on the East side of our building!  These two rooms will become our Junior and Senior High Ministry rooms as well as space to accommodate various equipping classes throughout the week.

As you may be aware, we still have another 3000 square feet to complete, along with some needed improvements.  Our hope is that this year, in addition to these two classrooms, we will be able to complete an area for the Compassion Ministry, renovate our lobby restrooms, and purchase a portable baptism.  All of this takes us continuing to be good stewards of our Investing in Destiny commitments!

God of this City

When we selected this song by Chris Tomlin, it spoke out all the things we believed and still believe regarding Investing in Destiny.

You’re the God of this City, You’re the King of these people, You’re the Lord of this nation, You are.
– My hope is that you remember Investing in Destiny is about what God will do in you and through you while you sacrifice financially.

You’re the Light in this darkness, You’re the Hope to the hopeless, You’re the Peace to the restless. You are.
– This facility has already been used to bring light, hope and peace to so many.

There is no one like our God, There is no one like our God.
– I am so grateful that we must continually rely on the miraculous provision of God.

For greater things have yet to come and greater things are still to be done in this City.
– As we enter into the last 12 months of our pledges, let’s believe together that God still has greater things for you, your family and CCF.  There are still things to be done in families and in the City and we get to Invest in the Destiny of it all!

>>Next steps…

To complete Phase 3a:
We are exploring options with the city and our architect to see how we can use this space until we can build it out.  The goal is to have an adequate area to continue the Compassion Ministries at CCF by early Spring 2013.

To complete Phase 3b:
The goal is to renovate the lobby restrooms in Spring 2013.

Completion of Phases 4 & 5 will be 2014 goals.

In the meantime, we will utilize our current space for an additional equipping classroom, and extend the café/lobby as a place to connect on Sunday mornings and throughout the week.

In addition, we will continue to upgrade our roofing, HVAC system and parking lot areas.

>>Pledge Update

>>Stay Faithful!

At this point, we are close to the two-year mark of our three-year commitment.  So far, we have cumulatively raised $540,516.00 dollars toward our $1,105,704.00 three-year commitment.  We are not quite as far along as we had hoped, but we are trusting God through each commitment to finish well.  Make sure you take the time to review your individual/family commitment to help you assess how to complete this amazing journey of faith and giving.

If for some reason your pledge amount needs to be changed, please notify the finance department at finance@ccflive.org.
