>>Dedication Sunday!!
The first weekend in February for many is reserved for this little event the NFL calls the SuperBowl; however, for us at CCF it was a Super Sunday.
We had the privilege of having our Regional Superintendent, Gary Ennis, as well as Glen Prior and Hal Stewart from our Conference office join us as we dedicated our new home to the Lord. After an amazing prophetic and pastoral blessing from our Superintendent we then continued in the celebration by honoring the church for their generous contribution of time, treasure and talent.
We also thanked our contractors, architects, project manager, campaign team and building committee who went above and beyond to get the first part of our project completed.
Furthermore, as a symbol of our dedication we choose not to go with the typical cutting of the ribbon but rather planted a California Sycamore, otherwise known as the majestic tree. The Sycamore was chosen because it is a tree of deep character able to withstand the twists and turn of any environment and grows rapidly.
What a great symbol for our future as we become a church that represents character, endurance and future growth!
