Connect to Action
Connect to Action
We invite you to be involved in sharing the gospel locally and globally by serving on a CCF Impact Team. We believe in putting our faith into action! St. Francis of Assisi said it so well, “Preach the Gospel at all times and when necessary use words.”
You can Connect to Action at CCF in many different ways. We are honored to partner with many ministries both locally and globally, as well as ministries within CCF itself. Here are the three keys ways that you can get involved:
3. Get involved with one of our Local Impact Projects throughout the year:
Local Impact includes opportunities to reach beyond ourselves through our volunteer based impact teams that serve our community. The ultimate goal is to put our faith into action by serving with the intention of making a positive Kingdom impact right here in our neighborhoods. Our local partnerships and impact projects include:
Senior Citizen Care Ministry
CCF has ministry that serves senior citizens in the Rancho Cucamonga area. Our desire is to help seniors in need, and assist in allowing them to maintain their dignity and independence. At holidays and various other times throughout the year we deliver items that are useful to the seniors in our city.
The cause of justice for the poor, enslaved and oppressed is one that we take seriously at CCF. Throughout the year, various opportunities are presented to the Church Body to connect and support the justice-cause ministries that we are connected to. Examples of these opportunities are “Human Trafficking Awareness Month” (January), Freedom Month (March) and the Justice Banquet generally held during March.
Impact Project – Got Your Back
Each year as the school year begins, CCF has a wonderful opportunity to bless some of the foster children in our community who are in need of backpacks and school supplies. Our goal is to show them the tangible love of God through practically recognizing a need and doing what we can to meet it.
Impact Project – Bags of Love
California has over 4 million people at risk of going hungry on any given day. Each year we gather “Bags of Love” and help to feed the hungry of our community. Our Local & Global Impact Team have provide recycle bags (for a small fee) with the list of foods needed, and the Bags of Love are then delivered to various schools in our community that have families they have identified as needing assistance.
Impact Project – Christmas Compassion Project
Our local impact project “Christmas Compassion Project” involves us identifying specific needs in our community and within our church, and then focusing on bringing gifts and food to those in need.
